The Couples Alive series is for people in primary relationship who want more, and are prepared to go beyond the familiar to find it.

 

Couples Alive transformational learning for couples

 

When we imagine 'falling in love' we often picture excitement, passion, discovery and great sex. And at first, this may indeed be what we find!

 

Over time, however, the thrill of 'falling in love' is eroded by life-numbing familiarity and predictability. Along the way we have missed opportunities to grow from 'falling in love' to loving.

 

How do we break this pattern and return to alive loving in the face of work, kids, routines, and daily tasks? By accessing and committing to the ongoing expression of passion, by communicating desires, risking adventure, renewing embodied contact - we can bring enduring freshness to our loving.

 

This program opens the door to the abundance of living-loving opportunities in our everyday life. In a thoughtful, caring, and engaging setting, couples will learn how to shake the familiar and embrace the novelty of new possibilities.

 

Beginning with common issues, and digging deeper, couples co-create their unique common ground. From this foundation new ways to foster loving aliveness can be crafted through work, play, challenge and pleasure.

 

In addition, each couple will have a private one-hour session with the group leaders, to bring further focus to ways they can benefit most from their commitment and efforts.

 

This program is for couples that want to:

  • Access/re-ignite passion
  • Uncover the deep richness in their loving partnership
  • Bring more edge to their day-to-day contact
  • Create an ambience of kindness and generosity
  • Use their 'tough stuff' to enrich their relationship
  • Transform familiarity into novelty and freshness
  • Bring new spark to fun, touch, charge and sex
  • Identify how everyday events can be key to the new and unexpected


Please Note:
1. The Couples Alive programs have been specifically designed to be taken in order. We strongly recommend that you take the programs in sequence.
2. Couples Alive I: Foundations is a prerequisite for all other parts of the series.

Tuition: $1660 per couple per program (Accommodation and meals extra.)

 

Early Bird Tuition: $1500 per couple per program when you register and pay in full at least two weeks in advance.

  

Additional Discounts in 2012: Couples Alive is a series of learning. So we want to make it easier for you to continue your learning with us. 

 

  • $500 off per couple for taking two Couples Alive programs in a 12 month period (this includes the upcoming Couples Alive I in November 2011).
  • Bring another couple with you to any Couples Alive program and receive $250 off for each couple (both couples must be in the same program on the same dates).

Accommodation and Meals
The Haven offers a range of comfortable rooms and suites. All accommodation is designed to be shared by two or more people, though private rates are available. We make every effort to meet the needs of all our guests, but cannot guarantee specific rooms. Rates include three buffet-style meals per day.

 

There are three types of room: Basic, Forest view, and Ocean view.

By putting the models into action, practicing and experiencing the process, approaching the issues from multiple ways, I think that I have begun to develop the skills to deepen my relationship and better understand myself. I have experienced models and theory before, and for the first time I have felt what it is like to put them into action.

This is the first program I've taken at The Haven and it has been incredibly positive. Above all, I have learned that it is more important to be 'me' and fully present in the communication process than to focus on a certain outcome.

Your tuition may be tax deductible
