Creative Connections

You are invited to a very special, one-off event at The Haven in June, which we are calling Creative Connections. This is an opportunity to spend time exploring your creativity with Haven founder Jock McKeen, Jane Geesman and Sarah Lucht, Gary Dillon and Don Mattson — and very special guest Eric Bibb!

Creative Connections will begin with a rare opportunity to spend the afternoon with Eric Bibb in a very personal workshop setting, followed by front-row seats at his evening concert in the Phoenix Auditorium. A long time friend of The Haven, Eric Bibb plays a beautifully realised, soulful and gospel infused folk-blues. A performance by Eric Bibb is an enriching experience – both musically and spiritually. Many of you will have heard his songs – including Connected and The Cape – played in Haven programs.

"Twenty years ago I experienced a life-changing dark night of the soul. I can't remember ever feeling so alone. Desperately seeking comfort, I reached for my guitar and, in no time at all, the song 'For You' came through. I knew then that I had a co-writer in heaven.
Connecting with our Muse is the focus of "The Spirit In A Song". In this 3 hour workshop we'll be exploring the writing of songs that open our hearts, soothe our souls and let us know we're never alone."

Eric Bibb
Singer/Songwriter
