Our Body's Tell

A body reading workshop

Successful poker players know if the other players have a good or bad hand by reading certain physical signs - the 'Tell'. At The Haven, a person's 'Tell' would be the expression of their defences or their character armour, created from long-held tension and/or trauma. this armour gives us our character flavour; our unique way of being in the world. However, when these defences become chronic we ar unlikely to fully engage in life.

In this program, you will become more effective at interpreting defences :

• Identifying and interpreting body stances
• Listening for voice tone, location of the voice and vocal patterns
• Looking for incongruency
• Noticing subtle communication clues
• Becoming more discerning with body messages
• Learning ages and stages of child development
• Being able to read the stories our bodies tell

Accommodation and Meals
The Haven offers a range of comfortable rooms and suites. All accommodation is designed to be shared by two or more people, though private rates are available. We make every effort to meet the needs of all our guests, but cannot guarantee specific rooms. Rates include three buffet-style meals per day.

There are three types of room: Basic, Forest view, and Ocean view.
