Storytelling for Re-Inventing the World

A weekend workshop with storyteller Margo McLoughlin.

Storytelling is a powerful tool for uncovering our own wisdom and our own gifts. When we give voice to our experience in a safe setting, we discover the story elements, including symbols and metaphors that are part of our own life narratives. A treasure-trove of personal stories is revealed to us, not just as anecdotes and passing memories but as sources of real insight and growth. At the same time, we recognize the wealth of stories that each person carries and we learn how to be skillful at inviting the stories of others into the light.

This is Storytelling for Re-inventing the World. Over the course of the weekend, we'll listen to folk-tales from many cultures, listening for how these stories call to our own stories, and learning how the Story Circle can be a place of true healing and the foundation for building community.

Format: Storytelling is a tool for uncovering our own wisdom and gifts. This journey of exploration is divided into four main themes

• Sacred listening, sacred play
• Seeing the light, embracing the shadow
• Weaving the web
• Awakening the healer

Tuition: $370.00 (Accommodation and meals extra.)

Early Bird Tuition: $330.00 if you register and pay in full at least two weeks in advance.

Accommodation and Meals
The Haven offers a range of comfortable rooms and suites. All accommodation is designed to be shared by two or more people, though private rates are available. We make every effort to meet the needs of all our guests, but cannot guarantee specific rooms. Rates include three buffet-style meals per day.

There are three types of room: Basic, Forest view, and Ocean view.
