Transformation Tango
![]() transformation tango
Transformation Tango is ideal for couples and singles wanting to feel more freedom within themselves and with others.
Using the fun, excitement and passion of tango as the key to transformation, you quickly build self-confidence and self-esteem and have greater understanding of yourself, others and how you act and react to life in general. You quickly become aware of your own blocks, which hold you back in all areas of your life including your relationships. You begin to feel more comfortable in body-mind-soul, making it easier to stay present in the moment.
The most important rules for Tango are the rules for life.
For men and women there is much confusion today about gender roles. Tango brings these differences back into balance. Men rediscover their true masculine, and women connect with their true feminine. Same sex couples and singles gain from understanding these different masculine and feminine energies.
This program is for you if you are looking for greater feelings of wellbeing and confidence within yourself and your relationships.
Anyone and everyone is welcome. Singles, couples, professional dancers, and beginners who never thought they could dance a step in their lives. This workshop uses dance as a symbol for transformation for all areas of your life. Make dance, physical movement, music and human touch a part of your life.
Format: This program includes a learning of the basics of Tango; mind/body/spirit intuitive exercises; individual and group sharing opportunities; breath, visualization and other self-reflection, self-releasing practices. Using the movement of Tango along with other psychological and transpersonal tools, attendees fast forward their personal development.
Faculty: Phil Winkelmans For more information on Phil's programs visit his website, www.toolsforthesoul.com
From a Previous Attendee: It's a great concept. It's a more integrated process that keeps coming back to the body and the Tango as metaphoric, which works really well.
Dr. Philip Winkelmans is an accomplished speaker, author and tango addict. His Transformational Tango partner is Janine Daniluck.
Janine Daniluck has been involved with dance and movement therapies for years and has been teaching and dancing Tango since 2005. This includes the study of Argentine Tango in Buenos Aries, Argentina. She believes dancing Tango promotes active healthy living for all ages. Are you shy? Want more fun in your life? Then try this Transformation Tango workshop. Transformation Tango helps you come out of your shell and relate to others in a safe and fun way. I loved it and want to come back for more. Transformation Tango gave me a framework and tools to identify process and expand my experience…having a system to identify the blocks and patterns…and having a process and tools to clear the blocks is a great way to learn. The workshop gave me a language for my values, tools to clear the stuck-places and the confidence & attitude for the dance... Transformation Tango is about self, especially core values…and releasing blocks to fully experience life…and Tango honey! I signed up for this workshop for a few reasons. I was looking for a way to free myself of some blocks that were keeping me from learning and enjoying the Tango and I've always been interested in going to a personal development workshop, but too scared to go. The combination of dance and personal development appealed to me. The first morning after the 5 day Tango workshop, I woke up early and walked my dog, then drove my car to the store, went in and bought myself a special coffee, as I walked back to my car I stopped in my tracks: I realized "Wow! I've been walking all morning with my head up, not down like I usually do. I'm facing the world!" It felt so wonderful and peaceful. This is another transformation I can definitely live with. As the days go by I discover more and more about myself due to the many helpful tools the course has given me to improve the quality of my life. I learned more than I ever imagined about the dance and about myself.
