a workshop with Victor Wooten

Victor Wooten is the author of The Music Lesson: A Spiritual Search for Growth through Music and is described by many as the finest bass player alive.

This three-day workshop is for musicians and non-musicians alike. Drawing on music for inspiration and examples, Victor Wooten will present and explore discoveries and ideas around creativity and the art of living. Whether you play music or not, the workshop will offer stimulation, pleasure, challenge and food for thought.

Victor Wooten live at The Haven

Victor will examine the ways we block ourselves from achieving what we want and how we get in our own way so much of the time. He will share a variety of ideas for shifting these patterns; things we can do instantly in the moment and tools we can practice every day to access our full creativity and the range of our resources.

Read about Victor on the Shen Blog.

This is a rare opportunity to experience one of the world's finest musicians and teachers. Join Victor Wooten for three days of music (bring your instruments!), learning and sharing at The Haven.

In music and in life, my parents and brothers were the foundation. They prepared me for life by giving and teaching me love and honesty. They also taught me to keep my mind open and learn to adapt to life's ever-changing circumstances. Their guidance has helped me stay grounded today.

To use a familiar Haven phrase "I'm resonating" in every possible way. To have been immersed in the magic that has occurred in the past three days ... I feel blessed, honoured and most of all spiritually renewed. Thank you Victor.
